Weapon which improved effectivity vs. heavy armor. Has a wide, short axe attached to a 5-6 ft haft and a sharp spear at its point. Usually also a back-spike and sometimes a butt-spike.

Lance
Typical weapon of a man-at-arms. Firstly a long (9 ft) spear but later developed into a heavier and even longer form unsuited for infantry.
Longbow
Archer’s weapon for launching arrows. Draws 30-36 inches and ranges over 300 yards. Very effective vs. unarmed enemies.

Great bascinet
Late 14th early 15th century version of the bascinet where the mail aventail was replaced with two steel plates, one in the front and one in back.
